Slovenian Third League

Slovenian third league (Slovene: Tretja slovenska nogometna liga), commonly known as 3.SNL, is the third tier in Slovenian football system. It is operated by Intercommunal football associations of Koper (MNZ Koper) (west) and Ptuj (MNZ Ptuj) (east). The tier consists of two leagues, East and West. This system was reintroduced in 2004/05 season after merging West with Centre and East with North. Each league comprises 14 teams and both winners are promoted to the 2.SNL. Last two, three or four clubs of each league are relegeted to Slovenian Regional League.
